The local is a Swedish news web site written in English. It has a large and active community of users who regularly post on the forum. The forum is open to anyone in Sweden but there are a large number of Stockholm members who arrange get togethers. This is an excellent place for finding answers to general questions, and maybe getting to know a few people who live here.
If your questions are more focused on small children, pregnancy, or breastfeeding you could visit Mums in Sweden. The name says it all. Most of the parents that come to the play group are also active members of this forum, so it's a great resource for keeping up with friends you have met at Hedgehogs.
Högalids Hedgehogs now has a
Facebook group. If you are on Facebook come join us.
Join other Expat mums and dads on
Meetup.com
for coffee mornings, picnics, play sessions,
museum visits, kids activities etc.
Your living city is a useful resource for information for expats.
English4Kids is there to help English speaking children living in Sweden to read and write in English. While children will easily learn to speak English, often Expat kids don't learn to read & write in English which can cause problems when they return to their native country. English4Kids caters for children from 1 year old right up to 13 years of age.
